Principal

Terry joined the insurance industry in 1983 and has had the opportunity to work with major organisations within the industry. This experience has been invaluable and has provided him with a wealth of knowledge to advise clients across a variety of industry sectors.  Terry specializes in all areas relating to Risk Insurance. 

 

Terry is a member of the AFA and is accredited to provide advice on life, trauma, total & permanent disability insurance, superannuation & income protection.

 

Terry also works with specialist experts in the field of business succession and estate planning.  He can customise your insurance package to suit your needs whether it is business or family protection, mortgage/loan protection, key person, buy-sell and superannuation.

 

Terry is a firm believer in the products that he recommends. He has had firsthand experience and is acutely aware of how important it is to have the right type of insurance in place. Terry recognises his vital role in helping you protect your business, wealth and financial future.

 

 

Account Executive (Insurance Broking)

Alana is a Gold Coast local and joined the team at Insure Qld after returning home from a 12 month working stint in New Zealand. 

 

Alana's experience within the insurance industry has been solidly built over the past 10 years and is underpinned by her high level of professionalism, knowledge, problem solving ability and her dedication to providing excellent client service.   

 

Knowledge and experience gained working in the insurance industry both in Australia and New Zealand, enables Alana to successfully manage a wide range of commercial and domestic portfolios including writing new business, preparation of renewals and handling of claims. 

 

As a qualified Tier 1 Account Executive (NIBA College), Alana is currently completing her Diploma of Financial Services – (Insurance Broking) Gold Seal.

 

 

Practice Manager

Lonna joined Insure Qld in 2008 after having served 18 years in the health industry where her main focus was strategic planning, workforce planning, innovation research and the development of information exchange networks.

 

Lonna oversees the day-to-day management of the practice and attends to HR, projects and budgetary requirements.  She liaises with the Commercial and Life & Financial Planning divisions to ensure a seamless operation.  

 

A major focus for Lonna is the development and implementation of all matters pertaining to business planning.

 

 

General Insurance (Operations and Development)

Marissa has worked in the insurance industry since 1997 working alongside Insurance Brokers within the Mackay region as well as QBE Insurance in Brisbane. 

 

Experience and knowledge gathered over the years has enabled Marissa to perform in a diverse number of roles including insurance advisor, claims officer and underwriting supervisor.

 

Marissa joined the team at Insure Qld after relocating to the Gold Coast from her hometown of Mackay.  Marissa is responsible for operations and development in the Business and General Insurance Department and provides clients with superior service by achieving practical and effective results.

 

Marissa has completed her Certificate III in Financial Services and is in the final stages of completing her Diploma in Financial Services.

 

 

Account Executive (Insurance Broking)

Pam hails from Barnsley in South Yorkshire and originally came to the South East corner of Queensland on a working visa way back in 1993.  She liked the Gold Coast area so much she now calls it home.

 

Pam commenced her career in the insurance industry in 1988 working for Guardian Royal Exchange Insurance Company and over the years Pam has had the opportunity to work with a number of insurance organisations both in the UK and Australia.  

 

As a result, Pam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with and supporting a wide range of large commercial and small business owners.  She enjoys the challenge of identifying insurance needs and risk management issues then following through to organise risk protection that best suits each owners’ individual business and personal requirements.

 

Pam is a qualified Tier 1 Account Executive and has a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Insurance Broking).  Pam has also partially completed her Diploma of Financial Services – (Insurance Broking) NIBA.

 

 

Account Executive (Insurance Broking)

Rebecca joined the team at Insure Qld after relocating to the Sunshine State from the UK and with over 7 years experience in the insurance broking environment, Rebecca brings a vast range of experience and knowledge to her role at Insure Qld.

 

With a talent for identifying insurance requirements and developing business solutions, Rebecca easily manages the diverse needs of a whole range of business types. 

 

Rebecca enjoys dealing with a mixed portfolio of large commercial and business clients and whenever possible prefers getting out and about to meet with clients to offer support and to better understand their business.

 

Rebecca has a Cert CII (Chartered Insurance Institute - UK) qualification and has also completed her Tier 1 Account Executive qualification here in Australia.

 

 

Financial Adviser

Scott joined the Insure QLD team in late 2009 and has 19 years experience in the Finance Industry.  After completing High School on the Coast, Scott undertook a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and while working in the banking industry completed a Masters of Commerce degree. 

 

Scott has a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is undertaking further Financial Planning qualifications. Being a Gold Coast local (having moved here with his family in 1976), Scott recognises the importance of ensuring client satisfaction and pays particular attention to the needs of his clients, their commitments, lifestyle and future goals.

   

Scott’s professional qualifications allow him to provide tailored recommendations on life, trauma, income protection and total and permanent disability insurance in addition to superannuation and managed investments.

 

 

Specialist Insurance Consultant (Commercial and General)

Terry has been an insurance adviser since 1988 and worked for Suncorp in the insurance industry for over 36 years.  Consequently his historical knowledge and expertise relating to business and general insurance is second to none.   

 

Terry is employed in a specialist consulting role providing expert advice, information and support to our team in the commercial and general insurance division.  

 

Over the years Terry has built a great rapport with our existing personal and commercial clients and he is keen to continue monitoring the transition of our Suncorp clients to the broker arena, as well as supporting and promoting the long term client relationships within our practice.
